The Repair of Nelson’s Monument Talk

Learn of the restoration of this Grade I monument which took place in 2005, the bi-centenary of Admiral Lord Nelson’s famous seas battle which hastened the end of the war with France.

Working in partnership with County Council, the District Council, English Heritage and other funders, the Norfolk Historic Buildings Trust undertook the repair of this important Grade I monument. Restoration took place in time for Trafalgar Day 2005, the bi-centenary of Admiral Lord Nelson’s famous seas battle which hastened the end of the war with France.
