Our weekly notices for Sunday 27 September 2026 mark Harvest Festival. Highlights for the week ahead
Echos at the Minster: season finale
On Wednesday 30 September, Michael Nicholas performs at Great Yarmouth Minster at 12.30 pm for the final weekly lunchtime concert of the season. Admission is free. The Minster also hosts the End of Season Concert at 7.30 pm that evening — another opportunity to enjoy music in this special setting.
Saturday coffee and the Bible Course
The Inclusive Church Coffee Morning takes place at the Minster on Saturday 3 October at 10.00 am. Come along for coffee and conversation. Later that morning, The Bible Course meets at 11.30 am in the Minster Vestry, continuing our exploration of the Bible together.
Worship on Sunday 4 October
Sunday Worship with Holy Communion takes place at 9.30 am at St Paul’s Church, Salisbury Road, 10.30 am at Great Yarmouth Minster and 11.00 am at St Mary’s Church, Southtown Road. Choral Evensong is at 6.00 pm at the Minster. You are warmly welcome to join us.
Could you lend a hand on Sundays?
The Minster needs more sidespeople and coffee helpers for Sundays. If you could help with either role, please let Wendy know. It is a practical way to support our shared worship and welcome.
