Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals

Baptisms

Baptism (also known as Christening) is a special time for a family, the church, and the individual being baptised. Anyone can get in touch with us to discuss having a baptism service in one of our three churches. It’s a warm and welcoming celebration, with blessed water gently sprinkled over the individual’s head as we pray and ask God for His blessing to welcome them into the church for their spiritual life journey.

Weddings

Our churches provide beautiful settings for your wedding ceremony. To discuss arranging your wedding at one of our churches, please contact us.

Funerals

We are here to support you during times of loss. To arrange a funeral service or to speak with a member of our clergy, please get in touch.

Vestry Hour

We hold a weekly Vestry Hour at Great Yarmouth Minster on Saturday mornings between 10–11 am for those interested in discussing a baptism or wedding. Just turn up to speak to the clergy member on duty, or get in touch to start a conversation.

Venue hire

Planning a concert, community gathering or family celebration? Contact the parish office to discuss spaces at the Minster, St Paul’s and St Mary’s, availability and facilities.
