Talking about faith can sometimes feel difficult. We may know that our faith matters deeply to us, yet still wonder how to speak about Jesus in a way that feels natural, honest and respectful.

Vox is a new seven-session course which helps Christians share what matters with the people they already know and care about. Faith and Friends will be exploring the course together, creating a relaxed place to listen, learn and grow in confidence.

What is Vox?

Produced by Christianity Explored Ministries, Vox takes us through Mark’s Gospel and helps us see afresh who Jesus is, why he came and the difference he makes. Each session combines an engaging film with conversation and time in the Bible.

The course follows the story of Jesus through themes including his identity, his kingdom, his welcome for those who feel lost or overlooked, and the hope found in his death and resurrection. It also helps us think practically about how we can share our own story of faith with warmth and humility.

A course for ordinary conversations

Vox is not about learning a sales pitch or having all the answers. It is about becoming better listeners, finding simple words for what we believe, and trusting God in the everyday conversations we have with friends, relatives, neighbours and colleagues.

Whether you are naturally confident or usually find conversations about faith daunting, you are welcome. No special knowledge is needed. There will be space to ask questions, reflect with others and take things at your own pace.

Faith grows when it is shared

Mark’s Gospel introduces us to Jesus’ good news as something living and active: an invitation into God’s kingdom, offered to real people in the middle of ordinary life. Vox helps us notice that same opportunity in the relationships God has already given us.

We hope the course will encourage our Faith and Friends community to pray for those around us, to recognise moments when people are open to spiritual questions, and to share the hope we have found in Christ with gentleness and honesty.
