We are thrilled to welcome visitors of all ages and especially school parties to the Minster, with so much within  to benefit the educational and extra-curricular enrichment of students. An obvious correlation with learning is the historical and musical interest of the building and the biological and geographical impact of the churchyard, which would benefit all Key Stage elements for primary pupils and then more specialist areas would complement secondary school students in their GCSE and A Level studies.

We are delighted to discuss your visit beforehand to get the best educational impact for your group, to greet you and your students on arrival, provide a guided tour of the building and grounds, and to answer any questions that might arise.

If you would like to discuss a school visit, please get in touch with our Parish Office via Contact Us.

You will find lots more information via the side menu to your left about visiting this impressive, atmospheric church, bigger than many of the UK’s cathedrals.
