Small Sounds is coming to Great Yarmouth Minster! This free music group welcomes children aged 0–5 and their parents and carers to enjoy songs, movement and play together.
Join us for the first session on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 10am at Great Yarmouth Minster, Church Plain, Great Yarmouth, NR30 1NE.
Big beginnings through music
Discover the joy of making music with your little one in a fun, friendly and nurturing setting. Led by trained music leaders, Small Sounds offers opportunities to:
- Sing together and explore your voice.
- Try instruments and discover new sounds through musical play.
- Move, clap and play with rhythm and movement.
- Meet new friends in a warm and welcoming community.
No musical experience is needed – just come along and enjoy! Participation is free, and all are welcome. Tea, coffee and refreshments are available after the session for parents, carers and children.
About Small Sounds
Small Sounds is a Cathedral Music Trust programme, established to create high-quality music groups for children aged 0–5 and their parents and carers. Through singing, playing, movement and listening, very young children can experience the joy of music. The programme also provides specialist development and support for music leaders.
Small Sounds at the Minster is part of the Academy of St Nicholas, Parish of Great Yarmouth, and is supported by Cathedral Music Trust.
