Guidance for Groups & Organisations Submitting Artwork

As part of our “Three Ships” Festival at Great Yarmouth Minster, we warmly invite your group to contribute artwork inspired by a traditional Christmas or Advent carol. The collection will form a community display, telling the Christmas story through creative interpretations of much-loved carols.

Entry Guidelines

Theme: Artwork should be inspired by a traditional Christmas or Advent carol. The piece should illustrate, depict, or otherwise reflect the chosen carol in a meaningful way.

Format of Artwork: Submissions may be either:

  • 2D pieces: Collage or other artwork on A2 paper.
  • 3D pieces: Papier-mâché, knitted, crocheted, or other creative media.
  • 3D artworks can be placed on a table top or free standing. Please ensure that they are self supporting. Please note that the use of fairy lights is permitted but they must be battery powered only. There can be no access to mains electricity.

Number of Entries: Organisations may submit multiple artworks.

Delivery of Artwork: Completed artworks should be delivered to Great Yarmouth Minster on:

  • Thursday 11th December or
  • Friday 12th December.

Cost of entry is £10.00 per exhibit. Payments can be made by cash, card or BACS transfer:

Payment can be left at the church office on Mon, Wed and Fri mornings between 10am and 12pm or during vestry hour on Saturday mornings from 10-11am.

Forms must be received by 1st December.
