Corona Virus Outbreak
Churches are closed for public worship during the Coronavirus pandemic but we encourage everyone in Great Yarmouth to be united in a desire to help others and pray for the needs of the world.
If you need to be in touch with the church or want contact from a member of the clergy team please use the contact details at the foot of this page.
A prayer for our community during this time of Coronavirus outbreak:
Lord Jesus Christ,
you taught us to love our neighbour,
and to care for those in need
as if we were caring for you.
In this time of anxiety, give us strength
to comfort the fearful, to tend the sick,
and to assure the isolated
of our love, and your love,
for your name’s sake.

THE PATHWAY CAFE AND RESOURCE CENTRE AT THE MINSTER MISSION
The Pathway is now registered as a separate independent charity (number: 1178940). Donations as cheques need to be payable to 'Great Yarmouth Pathway'.
The work and mission are unchanged: We are open to customers every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday between 12-2pm. Our aim is to provide support and friendship to the most vulnerable within our local community.
As well as the provision of a free hot meal our customers are supported through referrals to agencies for help with benefits and housing problems, provision of emergency food parcels, clothing and other essentials, and the opportunity to gain work-based experience through volunteering. Friendship groups are formed at the Pathway which helps to combat the loneliness and isolation experienced by the majority of our customers.
The Cafe is only a sustainable endeavor through the support received from generous sponsors and donations and we are always pleased to receive items such as ambient foodstuffs, men and women's toiletries, sleeping bags, towels and tea towels. To support the work of the Cafe through donations or volunteering please contact Barbara Rowe 07985785738 email@example.com
