The Parish of Great Yarmouth has three very different, equally welcoming churches. We look forward to welcoming you to one or all of them in the future. Find out more about our churches below.

The Minster

England’s largest parish church, consecrated back in 1119, one of two Minster churches in Norfolk.

St. Paul’s Church, Newtown

St. Paul’s was constructed in the late 1890s to look after the booming holiday trade as Great Yarmouth expanded towards Caister-on-Sea. Sitting on what was then a heath of sand dunes, it is now at the heart of a thriving suburban community.

St Mary’s Church, Southtown

St. Mary’s was completed in 1831 on the banks of the river Yare. Situated on the east side of Southtown Road, has a long and glorious history; over the years it has served the residents of Southtown well and is now part of the Parish of Great Yarmouth.
